Blocking, reporting, your data and your account.
What information do you keep about me?▾
We keep what the site needs to work: your account details, what you post and list, your messages and connections, your saved items and settings, and the technical logs needed to run and protect the site. Your email and connections are never shown publicly. Pontoon Pete questions from visitors are kept briefly without identity. The Privacy page has the full statement, and the Contact page is the way to ask for your data or its deletion.

What are the community rules?▾
Keep it neighbourly. Not allowed: harassment or threats, hateful content, scams and spam, dangerous or illegal items, other people's private information, and content you do not have the right to post. Moderators hide content that breaks the rules and suspend repeat offenders; suspended members see a notice when they sign in. The Terms page has the full rules.

What should I do in an emergency on the lake?▾
Call 911 first for any emergency on or around the water. Smith Lake NOW, lake alerts and Pontoon Pete are not emergency services and are not monitored around the clock. After everyone is safe, a lake alert on the site can warn others about a hazard.
