What photos and videos can I upload?▾

Photos: JPEG, PNG and WebP. Videos: MP4 and QuickTime (.MOV) in H.264, up to the size limit shown in the composer.

iPhone's default HEVC video and HEIC photo formats are not accepted yet. On an iPhone, Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible records in H.264 and JPEG, which upload fine. If an upload fails, the message tells you why.

What are lake alerts and how do I post one?▾

Lake alerts are short notices about something on the water right now: floating debris, a hazard near a ramp, a lost boat or dog. Post one from Alerts → New; it shows on the alerts list, the feed and the Lake page with the time you posted it. Official alerts from the authorities appear separately on the Lake page. For an emergency, call 911 first.
