Marketplace

1. Open the Marketplace and tap List Your Item (or Sell an Item on a phone).
2. Choose the type: for sale, wanted, trade or free.
3. Pick a category (boats and marine, docks and lifts, golf carts, furniture, tools and more), add photos, a price and a description, and choose how buyers can reach you.
4. Publish.

Standard listings are free. Your listings are under Manage listings, where you can edit, mark sold or remove them.

The Marketplace is for people around the lake selling to each other: boats and marine gear, docks, lifts and slips, kayaks and water sports, golf carts and off-road, furniture and home goods, tools and equipment, outdoor and fishing gear, electronics, and free items, each with its own page under the Marketplace.

Not allowed: weapons, anything illegal or recalled, and listings that are really advertisements for a business (use the Business Directory for that).

Promotions are optional and one-time (no subscription, no commission):

• Featured, 7 days: $9.99
• Featured, 30 days: $19.99
• Top of Marketplace, 7 days: $14.99

Featured listings carry a badge and rank above standard listings in their category; Top of Marketplace pins the listing in the strip at the top of the Marketplace. Open your listing and choose Promote to see the options. Payment is by card at checkout and the promotion starts automatically once the payment is confirmed. Card checkout is not switched on yet; the prices above are the published rates.

Open Manage listings, find the listing and use its menu to Mark sold or Remove. Sold listings leave the browse pages. If the item had a promotion running, the promotion ends with the listing; promotions are not refunded for early removal.

Open the listing and choose Message to start a private conversation (you need a free account). Sellers can also choose to show a phone number on the listing. Keep the conversation on the site until you have met; it protects both sides if something goes wrong.
