Accounts and Profiles

1. Tap Join free at the top of any page.
2. Enter your email and a password, then confirm the email we send you.
3. Finish the short onboarding: your display name and the part of the lake you are around.

Accounts are free. You can change your name, photo and lake area any time from Edit profile.

• New account: you need to confirm the email we sent before the first sign-in. Check spam if it has not arrived.
• Forgot your password: use the reset link on the sign-in page and follow the email.
• Wrong address: sign-in only works with the email you registered. If you used a different address for the same person, sign in with that one.

If none of that helps, reach us through the Contact page.

Open your profile and choose Edit profile. You can change your display name, photo, a short bio and the lake area you are around. The lake area helps neighbours find you and sets your default view of local posts.

Your public profile (name, photo, bio, lake area) and the posts you publish are visible to anyone on the site. Your friends list, the people you follow, your saved items, your messages and your email address are private.

You can review what is shown and adjust it from Settings → Privacy.

Open Settings → Security. You can change your password there and update your email address; a confirmation goes to the new address before it takes effect.

Account deletion is handled on request so a real person can confirm it is you. Send the request from the email on your account through the Contact page. Your profile, posts, listings, messages and saved items are removed and the account cannot be restored afterwards.
