Where do the lake level and conditions come from?

The Lake page shows the water level and generation from the official gauge data, river inflow from the U.S. Geological Survey, and weather and forecasts from the National Weather Service. Every number carries the time it was read, and anything older than expected is marked stale so you know not to rely on it. Full (summer) pool on Smith Lake is 510 feet above sea level.
